According to Boi-1da, one of Drake’s greatest producers, EminemThe production work and the skills of the beat makers are not sufficiently recognized. Although Eminem has won many awards and has been honored countless times over the years, Boi-1da says the rapper’s beats rarely get noticed.
According to Hot New Hip Hop, Eminem has made many of his own instrumentals as well as the beats used by the likes of Nas, Redman, Lloyd Banks, and DMX, among others. Marshall Mathers, also known as Eminem, even made beats for KXNG Crooked.

Earlier this week, Hot New Hip Hop reported that Boi-1da went on his Twitter account to celebrate the rapper’s career as a producer. The outlet claims Marshall doesn’t have enough “producer credit” before saying the rapper has “gems”.

In case you didn’t know, Boi-1da made the beats “Not Afraid” and “Seduction” for Eminem, as well as “Lucky You”, which came from his penultimate attempt. Kamikaze. So far it’s not entirely clear why Boi-1da recognized Eminem’s work as a producer, but it is very likely that he and the rapper will be bringing out a new project.
Or maybe he was just feeling nostalgic for a particular style of beat, and Eminem was one of the best at producing that sound. At Boi-1da, the manufacturer has made the headlines for several reasons in the past few months.

For example, Boi-1da started a social media debate when he suggested that Drake was easily one of the top performing artists of this generation. The Toronto artist has produced hit after hit after a decade-long career in the game.
This is not an unpopular opinion either. Fat Joe recently came out to punch for Drake and said the Toronto rapper was like modern day “Michael Jackson”.
Despite the shouts, Drake has come under fire from other performing artists, including the likes of Pusha-T, Meek Mill, and a few others. Kanye West and Drake fought too, but most took Drake’s side in one-sided beef.
