On November 12, E! News confirmed that there was “no schedule” for resumption of production and stated that the Bravo series is still on hold.
“There is now no schedule for the show to return,” said an insider.
However, the series has not yet been canceled.
“With so much uncertainty during the COVID pandemic, showrunners are telling the crew that the show has not been canceled but the upcoming season is currently on hold and asking them to please sit tight until the future is clearer,” continued the source away.
While New Seasons filming usually begins in late spring or early summer, this year’s production was interrupted by the coronavirus pandemic, which kept the SUR restaurant where the series is based closed for several months.
As Pump rules Fans may have seen Jax Taylor announced in October that he and his castmates would begin filming season nine later that month. However, shortly after his statement, Bravo denied such a plan diversity Magazine.
Although the show remains “on hold,” the cast have continued to share their lives with their fans on social media and in recent months Stassi, Lala and Scheana have confirmed that they are expecting their first children, girls, next year.
