BOSTON (CBS) – While our Sunday begins cool, dry and sunny, these calm conditions are short-lived as strong winds and heavy rain arrive after dinner. A strong, low-pressure area will lead north into Canada, bringing with it a cold front.
ONE WIND CONSULTING was issued before the cold front passage. It is in effect from 5 p.m. Sunday evening to Monday 1 a.m. Gusts can reach more than 80 km / h in some areas and possibly cause isolated damage and power outages.
The wind will be stormy all afternoon, stopping southeast at 10 to 20 miles per hour before gaining some strength in the night hours. The gusty wind will last until Monday.
Not only will the wind be strong, but there will be pockets of pouring rain as well.
The timing of rain and wind should coincide with the start of the Patriots / Ravens game at 8:20 p.m., with the weather going downhill after half time.
Those 70s that we enjoyed last week will be way in the past when we get into Wednesday. Hochs will have a hard time getting out of the mid-30s. BRRRR….
