Lisa Vanderpump says James used Kristen to obey the Vanderpump rules. He’s not sure when the show will be picked up

Lisa Vanderpump may not know when Vanderpump rules is being renewed for a ninth season, but she seems pretty confident that she and her castmates will be returning to Bravo at some point.

During a recent episode of their podcast, the former Real housewives from Beverly Hills Performers teased the addition of potential new cast members before revealing this James Kennedy used ex girlfriend Kristen Doute to get on the show. She also raved about James’ current girlfriend, Raquel Leviss.

“We don’t know when it will be picked up because the restaurants aren’t open yet and we’re all wearing masks. But we always have new people in the restaurant,” Lisa explained in an October episode of Everything Vanderpump. “We always try to add people.”

While Lisa would love to see different people join this Pump rules Cast, not everyone is open to this.

“It’s also a lot about who wants to be on a reality show,” she noted.

Although Lisa hasn’t been in touch with all of her castmates as they wait for the news in season nine, she has stayed in close contact with James, who recently celebrated a year of sobriety after making a number of questionable life choices over the past few seasons would have.

After Lisa first noticed “James Kennedy banged Kristen so he could be on the show,” Lisa said that James was “so fine.”

“I’m keeping up with him and he’s doing very well. James, I love you,” she told him.

As for James’ girlfriend, Lisa said Raquel was “the best thing that ever happened to James,” adding that she’s enjoyed making her own over the past few years.

“She’s a lot more confident. She’s really good. If she has a point, she won’t back down. I adore her,” enthused Lisa.
