I published a new one As part of Piece at The dropout this evening. With The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special When I published tomorrow I thought it was worth taking a look back Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi.
In particular, the way in which Return of the Jedi sets an outer limit for what war of stars may be. After the previous film in the series pushed the franchise outward, the third film in the original trilogy folds the series back in on itself and sets a clear line for what war of stars is and what war of stars will be forever. It’s a creative choice that has arguably hampered the franchise in recent years, limiting its ability to go beyond that template and embrace new ideas and concepts.
