The “boss” is back and forth in charge when DreamWorks Animation Studios released the official trailer for their upcoming sequel The Boss Baby: family business. Watch the trailer below.
In the sequel to DreamWorks Animation’s Oscar®-nominated blockbuster comedy, the Templeton brothers – Tim (James Marsden, X-Men franchise) and his boss baby brother, Ted (Alec Baldwin) – have grown up and deviated from each other. Tim is now a married father who stays home. Ted is a hedge fund CEO. But a new boss baby with an innovative approach and a can-do attitude brings them back together … and inspires a new family business. The family breadwinner, Tim and wife Carol (Eva Longoria), live in the suburbs of Sedaris, Netflix’s BoJack Horseman with their super-smart 7-year-old daughter Tabitha (Ariana Greenblatt, Avengers: Infinity War) and adorable newborn Tina (Amy) ). Tabitha, who is at the top of her class at the prestigious Acorn Center for Advanced Childhood, adores her uncle Ted and wants to become like him, but Tim, still in touch with his overactive youthful imagination, fears she’s working too hard and missed something on a normal childhood. When baby Tina reveals that she – ta-da! – is a top secret agent for BabyCorp to uncover the dark secrets behind Tabitha’s school and its mysterious founder, Dr. Erwin Armstrong (Jeff Goldblum), Uncovering It Will Reunite the Templeton Brothers, making them reevaluate the importance of the family and discover what really matters in unexpected ways.
Hmmmm … I don’t know. I have to say I wasn’t the biggest fan of the first Boss baby Movie. I’m sure the audience enjoyed it, but it wasn’t the best DreamWorks Studios produced. To be honest, in my opinion it was probably one of the more forgetful entries in his collection. Even so, Alec Baldwin played a great role in the lead role. I remembered DreamWorks was going to do a sequel, and now we have the “first look” at the official trailer, which certainly helps bring back a lot of the familiar things about the first film. It seems pretty much like another “half-baked” animated story, however. I will definitely see this film, but I have low expectations. Who knows … Family Business might surprise me.
The Boss Baby: family business should be released on March 26, 2021
