DeMar DeRozan, the guardian of San Antonio Spurs, said “all is well” with him and his family after an intruder entered their home when they were at home over two weeks ago.
TMZ reported that DeRozan heard a commotion on November 19 in a part of the family home in Los Angeles where one of his children was staying. When DeRozan checked, he found the intruder and chased the man out of his home, according to TMZ.
Justin Bergquist was arrested when he returned to the apartment building. TMZ reported that the man told police he was looking for Kylie Jenner’s house, not DeRozan’s.
DeRozan downplayed the gravity of the situation.
“I grew up in Compton, California,” DeRozan said on Saturday. “I’ve been through worse.”
