In episode 197, a group of astrologers will talk about Uranus’ recent invasion of Taurus and help contextualize the importance of this shift for the individual by speaking about it in the context of the transits of Uranus through each of the twelve houses.
This is a recording of a Denver Astrology Group meeting held last Saturday, March 9, 2019. It was an experimental format where a group of four astrologers had a discussion about the transit of Uranus through homes and viewers were encouraged to share stories of past Uranus transits they experienced.
The panel consisted of the astrologers Leisa Schaim, Eugenia Krok, Joy Vernon and Chris Brennan.
Part of the motivation for the panel was that a few days earlier, on March 6, 2019, Uranus left Aries and moved into Taurus, where it will traverse most of the next decade.
Over the course of the meeting, we went through each house in turn, starting with the first house, first talking conceptually about what the transit of Uranus through that house would mean and, in some cases, discussing various examples that we had seen it manifest in the past in different ways.
Then we opened it to the audience and asked if anyone had a good story about this transit, either in terms of how it had manifested for them when Uranus passed through this house in the past, or how it was already manifesting with Uranus started diving into Taurus last year.
This is in part on the premise that when you use whole character houses, moving Uranus to a new sign also means it will be moved to a new house on your diagram.
The end result was quite an interesting and informative discussion, which should be a useful starting point for any person who wants to find out what this nearly decade-long Uranus transit will mean for them.
