Disney + is increasing the price of its monthly subscription in Canada by $ 3 next year. However, a new entertainment portal will be added for the hike.
The home of the Disney, Pixar and Marvel franchises, Star, the international version of its US brand Hulu, will launch on the existing Disney Plus platform in February. Star will be thousands of hours away from the Disney TV Wing, 20th Century Studios, and the FX Channel but will not be charged as an additional service.
Instead, Disney + announces that it will increase the monthly price for all Canadian users from $ 8.99 to $ 11.99 on February 23, 2021. At the same time, Star appears on the main page of the platform.
