Deion Sanders promised he would be looking for big-name recruits when he was announced as Jackson State’s new coach, and he keeps that promise – landing a promise from ESPN JC 50 cornerback De’Jahn Warren on Wednesday.
Warren is the No. 4 junior college prospect and has tipped his engagement from Georgia.
Lackawanna College’s four-star prospect had offerings from some major Power 5 schools.
The 6-foot Warren, weighing 175 pounds, is now the second highest commit in the class behind Sanders’ son Shedeur Sanders, an ESPN 300 quarterback from Cedar Hill, Texas.
Shedeur Sanders is the No. 60 recruit overall.
Jackson State has nine engagements in this class with two four-star recruits.
