Family union. Heather Morris claimed that she and her mate joy Costars have lost 3 cast members after receiving backlash for their Mark Salling tweet earlier this week.
Morris, who played Brittany S. Pierce on the Fox series, slammed a Twitter user after covering Salling’s face with a vomit emoji in one of her photos on Dec. 7. “The vomit on Mark’s face is offensive,” said the actress, 33, replied Thursday, December 17.
Salling, who played Noah Puckerman on the series, pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography after a 2017 search warrant uncovered more than 50,000 questionable images on his computer. His sentencing was slated for March 2018, but the 35-year-old actor died of suicide two months earlier in January 2018.
The So you think you can dance Alum doubled up on her tweet after receiving mixed responses. Some agreed to her because they appreciated Salling’s time on the show, while others exclaimed her for helping a pedophile.
“I have no need to ever justify anything because something is better left unsaid,” tweeted Morris on Friday, December 18th. “All of you who have a lot to say, I understand, I understand you … something is unforgivable.”
The mother of two continued, “But this holiday season of ALL holiday seasons is INCREDIBLY difficult for so many of us.”
Morris pointed out that her co-stars “not only lost 2 cast, we lost 3. And it is so incredibly difficult to have to act in such a way that the third one is invisible because, although his actions are unjustifiable, he was part of us family at one point and he was mentally ill. “
She noted that pedophilia is “a disease” and “while I don’t want to say any of this, it is true”.
The Santa fake star concluded, “So THANK YOU for treating me with such disrespect and rudeness at a time that I couldn’t go through a day without rolling my eyes at the loss of my entire glee family … thanks.”
Morris mourned Salling on Instagram a month after his death in 2018 and shared a quote with Robert M. Drake on “Peace With Your Demons.”
