Chrissy Teigen ends the year in St. Barts with John Legend, where friends have taken them on a hike. The model rocked a swimsuit that she also wore in a video after crying in a therapy session.
Chrissy Teigen, 35 and John LegendThe 41-year-old is spending some of his last days in 2020 in a popular travel destination: St. Barts. During their short break on the French Caribbean island, the couple decided to go hiking with their vacation team (which included Chrissy’s mother) Vilailuck batters and famous hairdresser Jen Atkin) on December 22nd. For the outdoor adventure, Chrissy wore a jet black swimsuit with a pulled-down waist and a gold medallion in the middle. You can see the swimsuit photos here.
Chrissy’s Arm Candy was just as chic: a black vintage vanity Chanel! Meanwhile, John wore more traditional hiking attire as he navigated the tropical trail in a matching black t-shirt and shorts. She later donned Cult Gaia’s popular “Serita” dress, as seen in her Instagram story. However, in another Instagram Story post, she was wearing the same swimsuit from her hike when she filmed a video right after her therapy session. “It’s like a facial filter after therapy,” Chrissy teased at the clip, who looked like she had just cried.
Despite their light-hearted joke, Chrissy and John suffered a very real tragedy almost two months before their vacation. Chrissy announced that she miscarried in a heartbreaking Instagram post on October 1 mourning the loss of her third child, a boy named Jack. “We could never stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids it needed, despite bags and bags with blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough, ”the model and cookbook author explained in the sad post that contained a photo of Chrissy collapsing on her hospital bed.
Despite her recent defeat, Chrissy has managed to maintain her signature humor that brings much-needed laughter to fans during a difficult year. During her short break in Saint Barthélemy, Chrissy also filmed a video of herself in another swimsuit (a one-piece swimsuit in bubble gum pink) and made fun of her breasts after removing her implants last June.
“I’ve been standing here for 10 years trying to get my breasts up or down or down,” Chrissy complained as she tried to adjust her chest and suit. She finally gave up and exclaimed, “And I’ve decided I’m not giving an f -!” As you can see, Chrissy had a good time in St. Barts, which reopened to tourists in June and is required to present a negative COVID-19 test in order to participate. As of December 22, a total of 175 cases of the virus and one death had been recorded on the island.
