Capsule rating: A lovable little dramedy worthy of your time Saint Frances hooks her with her leading actress, her charming young side tick, and a nifty script that casually maneuvers the ups, downs and humor of real life. Kelly O’Sullivan is a great performance that balances comedy and emotional drama with ease. The young Ramona Edith Williams is a burst of joy and energy in every scene.
But what does that really matter Saint Frances What makes it special is the way in which director Alex Thompson and O’Sullivan, who also wrote the film, develop a universally assignable sense of reality, even if the special circumstances that the title character is facing may be strange to you.
