1. Place it selectively and strategically in a few places
A mention on a media list such as Forbes 30 Under 30 should work in places like email signatures, brief bios, and character profiles. It is important that you strategically place your mention. Seeing the award once or twice will evoke positive feelings in the viewer and they will find it impressive. When they see it on every page of your website, you may just look important to yourself. – Brandon Stapper, non-stop signs
2. Explain why it is important
While it is important in the business world to publicize a major award in order to stand out from the crowd and build buyer confidence, it is equally important to give it meaning. This may result in posting a video interview on your website asking what the achievement means for you personally and what you need to overcome to get there. – Dalia MacPhee, DALIA MACPHEE
3. Paste it into your guest article BIOS
My company relies heavily on written content such as guest posts to generate interest and sales. Because of this, I think the best way to implement an award is to include it in every short blurb or description for guest posting or written articles. This will immediately demonstrate credibility and appreciation, and add weight to the content. – Bryce Welker, Accounting Institute for Success
4th Share it on social media
Every time I receive an award or recognition I post it on Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Medium and my own website. I do the post non-stop for several weeks to create traction. This really helps me get customers or generate leads from my network. – Piyush Jain, Simpalm
5. Click clickable media logos
Getting listed on a media list gives you instant authority over your activities and can use that to help your business grow. Be vocal and brag about your achievements on your LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram profiles. You’ll also want to leverage the logos of the entity that recognized you and link the logos to the article or media release to gain trust. – Fred Lam, iPro Management Group Corp.
6. Display them on your homepage
Having media logos on your homepage is a great form of social proof that can help you generate more sales. Often times, on websites that do this, the logos are brightened so that they do not detract from your product’s marketing materials, but enhance them. – Syed Balkhi, WP beginner
7. Follow brand guidelines
The brands that give these awards want the advertising as much as you do – and they often provide guidelines on how to use their logo, write press releases, and get the information out. So take their free advice and check those boxes first. – Sam Saxton, Paragon Stairs
8. Create a press page
As you get more and more awards for your company, you’ll want to set up your own pressroom. From there you can link to all press representatives you have received and create a press kit for new publishers. – Jared Atchison, WPForms
9. Mention awards in your sales materials
Adding the media logos to your sales materials can be a great way to instill confidence in your company. You can add them to brochures, sales decks and of course your website, for example. This way, customers will feel more comfortable buying from you than someone who hasn’t been reviewed by the media. – Chris Christoff, MonsterInsights
10. Don’t overdo it
Mentions like Forbes 30 Under 30 are essential social proof tools that will drive conversions on your website and help you stand out as an authority figure. The more reputable the source, the better. However, I am warning those who plan to blow it up anywhere, anywhere. You can cut off as holier than you. – Zachary Burkes, Predictable Profits
