What a Christmas film is and what isn’t is of course very subjective. Everyone has linked their own films with the vacation. That said Die Hard occupies a strange place in the Christmas landscape. It’s a film that takes place around Christmas and has become more and more associated with the holidays over the years. In addition, its structure and themes are inextricably linked to the time of peace on earth and goodwill towards all people. At the climax, even a bearded man flies through the sky.
