American talk show host Larry King was hospitalized after contracting COVID-19, according to several media reports.
CNN and ABC News said the 87-year-old was hospitalized in Los Angeles after diagnosing the virus, citing sources close to his family.
According to CNN, King has been hospitalized at Cedars Sinai Medical Center for over a week and all three of his sons have been unable to visit him due to the hospital’s health protocols.

A source told ABC that the talk show host “has fought so many health problems in recent years” and that he “has fought hard against this one too.”
King was diagnosed with multiple medical problems as early as 1987, including multiple heart attacks and five-fold bypass surgery.
He also had surgery to treat a diagnosis of lung cancer in 2017, as well as another procedure for angina in 2018.
King was the host of Larry King Live For over 25 years before he retired in 2010. He was also the host between 2012 and 2020 Larry King now.
