Marion Ramsey, the actress who played the tiny cop Laverne Hooks in the Police school Movies, died at the age of 73.
Roger Paul of Roger Paul Inc., Ramsey’s representative, confirmed the news to industry publication Variety.
He said Ramsey recently got sick but had not clarified the cause of death.
“Her passion, playing her heart and sharing it with the world, was immense. Marion carried a friendliness and a penetrating light that immediately filled a room when she arrived, ”said a statement from Paul. “The darkening of their light is already felt by those who knew them well. We will miss her and love her forever. “
