An armed man who fatally shot one man and seriously injured two others in an altercation in Boyle Heights on Saturday remained at large, authorities said on Sunday.
The shooting took place around 8:50 p.m. LAPD officer Mike Lopez said Saturday on the 700 block of Fickett Street following an altercation believed to be related to the gang.
The shooter fired multiple shots and fled on foot, Lopez said.
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two victims, a man and a woman, were taken to a local hospital and were in critical condition, Lopez said. The victims were all in their twenties, Lopez said.
No suspect had been identified as of Sunday morning.
