A Bay Area boy was arrested in connection with his father’s stabbing death, authorities said.
Police were called to a house in Brentwood town just before 10 a.m. to investigate a reported sting.
The officers found a 37-year-old man who had been stabbed multiple times. The man, who was not identified, was rushed to a local hospital where he died of his injuries, according to a report from the Brentwood Police Department.
Police said the man was repeatedly stabbed to death during an argument with his underage son. Investigators found the gun that was supposedly used in the attack and police arrested the boy, who was also not identified.
“Our deepest condolences go to the family and friends affected by the untimely death of the victim,” said the Brentwood Police Department in a Facebook post.
