A Brazilian-born Instagram model in Australia reached out to OnlyFans for money while she was under quarantine lockdown at an Australian hotel.
According to the Daily Mail, Instagram and now OnlyFans’s 27-year-old model Leila Burate will be calling the Westin Hotel in Brisbane their home for the next two weeks after Queensland Health enforced mandatory quarantine to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
“I created an OnlyFans page early on January 3rd in my first quarantine,” she told Daily Mail Australia.
“I haven’t been able to work in Australia since May last year because of Covid. I have to do something.”
“My partner Fabian supports me, we talked about it.”

Burate claims she is in the top 2.6% on the site, with more fans subscribing every day.
According to the Gold Coast Bulletin, Burate was born in Brazil but permanently resides in Australia and lives on the Gold Coast.
Ms. Burate lived on the seventh floor of the Hotel Grand Chancellor, where six people were infected with the COVID-19 strain B.1.1.7.
Hotel Grand Chancellor’s Mutant UK COVID drama: For fans only
To add insult to injury, models OnlyFans and Instagram had just ended their two-week hotel quarantine mandate after traveling home from Brazil when she was forced into another lockdown.
“We were treated like we were all sick, but I had done two tests in Brazil, both negative and two tests, since I returned. I can’t understand why they wouldn’t let me go to isolate me at home, ”Burate told the bulletin.
“I had to set up a ‘fans only’ account so I could make some money because after returning to the Gold Coast, I can’t get a job like I planned.”
Burate also noted that her hotel lacks balconies and that she does not appear to have a chance to get some fresh air before her quarantine ends later this month.
“So many others in this hotel with me will be out of work for two weeks.”

According to Sydney Morning Herald’s subsidiary, The Brisbane Times, the quarantine that is currently causing controversy over Instagram and OnlyFans’ model is the result of an outbreak at the Grand Chancellor Hotel.
Burate was previously quarantined at the hotel, which suffered an outbreak cluster on the seventh floor. All patients tested positive for the UK’s highly infectious strain of coronavirus.
“You don’t understand what happened yet, and we may never understand, but in the meantime, you certainly don’t want to keep people in a situation where they might be at risk of infection,” a health official told People after the outbreak take to another hotel.
“I’m not sick and I want to get out of here,” Burate said of her current dig, noting that she only has Netflix and OnlyFans to pass the time.
