EXCLUSIVE: Four were added to the cast of the Michael Bay-directed action thriller Ambulance: Garret Dillahunt, A Martinez, Keir O’Donnell and Moses Ingram.
The four join current cast members Jake Gyllenhaal, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Eiza Gonzalez in a feature based on the original Danish film Ambulances. While the plot is kept under wraps, the image is expected to be in the spirit of such 90s action pictures speed and Bad Boys. Chris Fedak wrote the original script. Bay, James Vanderbilt, Bradley Fischer, Will Sherak and Ian Bryce produce. Michael Kase and Mark Moran will serve as executive producers. reported for the first time in discussions about the Bay project with Gyllenhaal.
Universal is distributing the film with the Endeavor content packaging of the project.
Dillahunt recently wrapped up Zack Snyder’s upcoming Netflix movie Army of the Dead and stars in AMCs Fear walking death as a regular series. He also starred in Steve McQueen’s film alongside Viola Davis Widows and appeared on television series such as TBS The guest book, Amazon Hand of Godand Hulus The Mindy Project.
Martinez recently starred in the series-running role of Jacob Nighthorse on Netflix Longmireas well as recurring roles The Bay and Queen of the South. He has also appeared in films including The cowboys, she-devil and Powwow Highway.
O’Donnell was recently featured in Hulu’s Into the dark and Blue Book project for History Channel. His recent TV credits include Legion, Fargo and Ray Donovanand include its feature credits Wedding Crashers, The Separation and American sniper, among other.
Ingram recently made her television debut in Netflix’s limited series The Queens Gambit as chess master Beth Harmons best friend and orphan colleague Jolene. Ingram will also play the role of Lady Macduff on A24s Macbeth across from Denzel Washington.
Dillahunt is backed up by APA and D2 management. Martinez will again be looked after by the Teitelbaum Artists Group and David Shapira & Associates.
