Chloe Fineman played Regé-Jean’s co-star Phoebe Dynevor when the couple tried to film some of Bridgerton’s hottest scenes in this SNL sketch!
We’re back in “Season” – like the glamorous time of year when Britain’s most elite families would try to find love games for their young and eligible children. Regé-Jean page, 31, helped make the Bridgerton-esque sketch of life on February 20th when he played himself beside him Chloe Fineman‘S Phoebe Dynevor (Who is Daphne Bridgerton on the Netflix show). When the scene opened, Regé-Jean dropped his now iconic line from the series: “I’m Burning For You, Daphne” (in a rather dramatic way). Crew member Deirdre – played hysterically by Kate McKinnon – went to the set when the scene was cutting.
“Oh my god you’re amazing – such passion, that was great!” she raved about with a British accent. “This next scene involves nudity and simulated intercourse, so we’re going to be vacating the set. Regé and Phoebe are going to have a brief rehearsal with an intimacy coordinator to make sure you’re both familiar with the scene,” she explained usually Ironically, the intimacy coordinator caught COVID at a COVID relief event. Two unexpected men then appeared to introduce themselves as the intimacy coordinators to coordinate the sex scenes.
“Eh, how are you? I’m Regini, the intimacy coordinator – this is my nephew Randy, Assistant I / C, ”introduced the first Pete Davidson as Randy. A confused Regé-Jean then thought about seeing this at the bagel table earlier – and thought they were in a different department. It turns out that she were but was “certified to do the sex stuff” – and offered the actor a seemingly used “dong bag” to carry during the scene. “Are they clean?” Regé asked as they offered Phoebe a pair of pale green pies. “For the lady we have the pies we designed … they’re light green so she can turn the screen green in someone else’s nips,” argued Pete’s Randy. The awkward moments didn’t stop there when they tried to show Regé and Chloes Phoebe How They should be doing their sex scenes – including a pretty inappropriate position that wasn’t mentioned Bridgerton.
In the actual show, Regé-Jean’s Duke Simon falls in love with Phoebe Dynevor’s adorable Daphne Bridgerton. The couple had incredible chemistry on the show and many fans wondered if they were an object in real life. “I would like to say that there was really something between us. But no, it was always strictly professional,” admitted Daphne they Magazine. “We were under so much pressure to get it right that it was all about work. We have a very professional working relationship. I’m actually happy about it. It would be very complicated if it went on, ”she added.

Although their relationship is strictly platonic (which the “beautiful scripts” recognize for their crazy chemistry), Daphne said the two are “good friends” and keep in touch regularly. Recently, 31-year-old Regé-Jean was spotted with his stunning girlfriend Emily Brown. The actor and soccer player were photographed on a romantic stroll in London, bundled up for the cool temperatures. At some point Regé-Jean put his arm sweetly around Emily before hugging her and getting into a chauffeured vehicle.
The popular series – tells about the only one Julie Andrews – is expected to return to Netflix in season two. “I want to know a little more about the relationship between Daphne and Simon,” Phoebe added in the same interview. At the end of the first season, which was based on a book, the Duke and Daphne welcomed their first child. “I loved that it ended with a happy ending, but life isn’t a happy ending. I would love to see what other hurdles you have to jump over,” she added.
