It’s getting uncomfortable in the CNN lunchtime!
CNN presenter Dana Bash mistook her colleague Chris Cuomo for his brother, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, on Sunday when he spoke about the latest allegations of sexual harassment against the politician.
The chief political correspondent gawked when he reported that the governor had allegedly asked inappropriateness of questions and comments to former aide-aide Charlotte Bennett, 25, saying she felt he wanted to “sleep with me”.
“The New York Times reported a second allegation of sexual harassment against New York Governor Chris Cuomo last night,” Bash told State of the Union.
“This is a report from a former aide, Charlotte Bennett, stating that Cuomo asked her in his office alone last spring about her sex life, including whether she had ever had sex with older men for whom she also made other allegations has, “she continued.
Bash then began an interview with White House press secretary Jen Psaki before correcting herself for accidentally naming the host of “Cuomo Prime Time”.
“Of course I should say Governor Andrew Cuomo,” she said.
The latest revelations involving the elderly Cuomo, 63, came after another former aide, Lindsey Boylan, accused him of sexual harassment.
