Accordance with X-Files‘Moving from Vancouver to Los Angeles, there has also been a postponement The X-Cast. Tony Black no longer directs the show but is now directed by Sarah Blair, Kurt North and Carl Sweeney. I was thrilled to speak to Carl about one of the most important episodes in the history of the series: A son.
With A sonThe show closes the book on one of the most important chapters in its history. Kind of. Kind of. A little bit. Of course, there was also another way of pulling the curtain down. There’s a very credible argument that this midseason two-piece was the last time it was X-Files was really event television. That makes A son An interesting and complicated piece of television, a bit of ambitious storytelling that has to cover a lot of ground very ruthlessly. The result is an episode that isn’t entirely successful, but fascinating nonetheless.
