One kiss is all it takes! Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid have shown great PDAs throughout their romance as they spent time together in the spotlight and out of the spotlight.
The couple’s romance first hit the headlines in June 2019 when Lipa attended Hadid’s 20th birthday celebrations. The Sun posted a video showing the singer laughing as the birthday boy received his cake, and the newspaper reported that the duo had just enjoyed a “series of dates” in Malibu and that Lipa “got along really well” with Hadid.
This birthday party came just weeks after Lipa broke up with her boyfriend Isaac Carew, three and a half years of dating in and out. In July 2019, Lipa is said to have closed her lips with Chris Martin after briefly parting with Dakota Johnson, but the Coldplay frontman’s rep denied the rumors, claiming the couple were “just friends.”
Hadid, for his part, parted with Bates Motel actress Nicola Peltz in 2018 after more than a year of dating. He was also seen turning it off Kendall Jenner at a CFDA Awards after party in NYC in June.
Lipa, who became famous with titles like “IDGAF” and “New Rules”, gave insights into her love life in September 2018 when she played the role of counselor for Elle UK Magazine. “It’s so much fun being single,” she noted at the time. “When I’m single, I end up having so much more time to do lots of other things. When you’re in a relationship, most of the time you’re free is usually devoted to that one person. That While it can be fun, it is also good if you do everything on your own terms. I am totally into monogamy, but I think it’s also important to be at least a little alone in life. I think that’s how you learn a lot about yourself when you are all alone and you have no one to turn to for certain things. You learn to rely on yourself in other ways. “
She also talked about those three little words: “There is a risk of saying ‘I love you’ too soon, but sometimes you meet someone who makes you feel a certain way, and it seems the most natural thing to do is that You shouldn’t be afraid of it. If that’s the way it is, there is no such thing as “going too fast”. It will feel right. And if it doesn’t work, that’s fine. As much as I tell myself, that I shouldn’t rush at something or be careful not to say “I love you” too quickly without knowing whether there is any substance in the relationship, it is important to go with your gut. Life is too short not to say, “I love you.”
