A little giggle from her friend Lucy triggers the start of an intense argument. While Lucy doesn’t get involved, Shereen takes action by throwing away the sandwich that she barely touched. Lucy tries not to get drawn into Shereen’s attempts to have a full blown argument, but in the end she gets drawn in and it all comes out.
Lucy goes too far when her pent-up anger leads to a broken glass and then the final blows in their argument are dealt with. Shereen throws her partner out of the house and Lucy is happy to end this relationship. Until they see what’s on the news right now.
A five-minute short film by filmmaker friends Scott Piggott (writer / director) and Matt Ashwell (producer) was released to mark the anniversary of Boris Johnson, who put England into lockdown. The filmmaker couple who work under the small production company Coup The Duke (with whom it is properly released for the first time) made this one-shot film that needs to be looked through all the way to really understand where it’s going.
The film was shot during the lockdown and followed COVID guidelines for filming at that time.
