The elaborately costumed, seductive piece from the time was just the thing to get us out of our year-end funk when it was released in December. Unfortunately, however Netflix just announced This site will not revive its steamy character for Bridgerton Season 2. Why? Since the next episode follows the plot of the second book in the series, The Viscount who loved meThe focus is on Daphne’s brother Lord Anthony Bridgerton and his search for a wife.
You can count on the entire Bridgerton family to return in Season 2, including Daphne, Anthony, Benedict, Colin, Eloise, and Francesca, as well as the all-important Lady Whistledown. The Matriarch of Bridgerton will also return, and based on the book, we expect the story to provide more insight into the death of the Bridgertons’ father and its impact on Anthony. We’ll also meet two new characters who haven’t been cast: sisters Kate and Edwina Sheffield.
