After five seasons and 65 episodes Kim’s convenience has closed shop. Originally extended for a sixth season, the show announced in March that season five would be the last, making the series’ April 13 finale all the more bittersweet. If you thought Kimbits, aka fans of the show, weren’t ready to say goodbye to Appa, Umma, Janet, Jung, and more, wait for the honors from Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Jean Yoon, Andrea Bang and Simu see Liu and Andrew Phung.
Kim’s convenience wasn’t just a comedy, it was unique. It made us laugh, it made us cry, and the series finale wasn’t the goodbye the brilliant cast and crew deserved. If you’re not ready to let the Kim family go, you can still look forward to the fifth season coming soon on Netflix. Until then, take a look at the cast’s upcoming farewells.
