Tom Lee said Tuesday he still sees plenty of room for economically sensitive stocks to continue to rebound.
In an interview on CNBC’s TechCheck, co-founder of Fundstrat Global Advisors said his view was shaped in part by recent conversations with his firm’s customers after months of touting this group of so-called “epicenter” sectors.
“For the first time, perhaps since we recommended the epicenter last week, we finally got some investors to look at these cyclicals,” said Lee. “I think it’s just that the door has finally opened. We’re probably in level zero from level 30.”
Fundstrat’s current basket of epicenter sectors consists of industry, energy and, most recently, financials that have just replaced materials.
