In episode 97 of the podcast, I talk about the recent release of my new book on ancient astrology called Hellenistic Astrology: The Study of Fate and Fortune.
The book offers one of the first comprehensive reviews in modern times of the type of astrology practiced during the time of the Roman Empire, roughly from the first century BC.
The purpose of the episode is to provide an overview of the book and to talk about some of the topics I cover in it, but also about the process of writing the book and what is in it, especially over the past year.
Where to get the book
Here you can order the book and get a preview of the introduction and table of contents:
I am currently also offering a package deal for my online Hellenistic Astrology course, where you will receive a free copy of the book when you register for the course:
The book is also available through other online retailers, although I have a slight preference for orders placed directly through my website that I linked to above.
Important contributions to the book
I would like to thank a few people who helped me finish the book this year:
Aaron Cheak edited the book and helped shape its structure.
Paula Belluomini designed the cover and many of the diagrams.
Shannon Garcia designed the layout and typesetting for the book, as well as the index.
