We have bad news for fans hoping to see Netflix in a second season of Great army. On the 17th of June diversity reports that the streaming service canceled the teen drama after just one season. Loosely based on Katie Cappiellos 2013 Bitch: the game, the show premiered on October 16, 2020 and follows the lives of five students at Brooklyn’s largest public high school. Some of the problems Great army Season one (and only) tackles include systemic racism, sexual assault, international adoption, sexuality, and feminism.
